Wrapped up in Deuteronomy 6 is a call to be intentional in the ways we live life with our children and to be faithful in our efforts to bring them into the presence of God. This workshop explores why this kind of lifestyle discipleship most effectively begins in the home, how the church and parents can partner together, and provides some simple tools to better integrate intentional discipleship into your family life. While this workshop is targeted towards parents, it will provide perspective, language, and tools for ministry leaders who work with children, families, and youth.

Men are the rebar in the concrete that holds up the structure of an effective church ministry. Often misunderstood if not ignored, a male’s relationally challenging responses have caused many in the church to not develop the vital resource of a men’s ministry. Women and children have also been harmed as the representative of Jesus they were dreaming of is often a no-show. This seminar will look at several specific challenges to reaching out and developing men spiritually. We will look at some practical guidelines to magnify your effort with these significant participants in God’s Kingdom.

We must recognize the Father’s unique role within the Trinity and his unique love for us. With our new way of seeing God and ourselves comes a new way of seeing the Trinity. This workshop will present a clear picture of the interrelationships of the Trinity, and how we participate with them.
We need to recognize that the Son and the Holy Spirit are fully cooperating with God in his love for us. The Father is the focus Person of the Trinity and the other two members cooperate in the Father’s desire to share his love for his Son with us. So we can experience that love he has placed us in Christ. Such a joy demands a radical experience of living within the Trinity.

As experts diagnose an increasing number of girls and women with Autism, they are finding that the way Autism presents in girls is very different in girls than it is in boys Girls are often misdiagnosed or poorly understood, and there is potential risk in that oversight. This workshop will look at the unique ways Autism presents in girls. We will explore the dangers of misdiagnosis and will hear how women who have autism have described their strengths and challenges. Practical tips and tools will be shared to help you welcome, include, and help facilitate quality community with our female friends who are on the Spectrum
