God designed human beings for loving relationships, first with Him and then with each other. However, sins damage those relationships. A huge part of the good news of Jesus Christ is God's ability to heal and restore broken relationships. He does this as we practice all aspects of His forgiveness -- receiving it from Him, forgiving others and asking others to forgive us. We also need to learn how to give other people the best opportunities to do the same. In this workshop we will introduce and examine the six principles of Relational Forgiveness, which is how we can create the best opportunity for a broken relationship to be restored and good relationships to be optimized.

Sins damage the human soul much like a knife can damage the human body, causing both pain (which leads to anger) and dysfunction. All people have damaged souls, both from our own sins and from the sins others have committed against us. God can and wants to heal us and set us free from the damaging effects of these sins, but to do so He must wait for us to forgive those who have sinned against us.
However, most Christians struggle in their practice of forgiveness because many false and unbiblical models of forgiveness have been introduced into the Church. In this workshop we will examine the six basic steps of biblical forgiveness and how to practice them so that God can heal you and set you free.

There are many misleading and unproductive ideas about forgiveness that have crept into the Church of Jesus Christ, and without wonder, as Satan does not want God's people to practice real forgiveness. God heals the human soul and restores broken relationships when people practice all aspects of God's forgiveness (receiving it from God, forgiving others, asking others to forgive us, overcoming self-condemnation and eliminating anger against God). So Satan has flooded the Church with counterfeits. People are suffering unnecessarily because they do not know what real forgiveness is or how to practice it. In this workshop we will examine the four most important but neglected aspects of biblical forgiveness.
Helping people to develop a lifestyle of biblical forgiveness is a necessary part of pastoral ministry, counseling, evangelism, discipleship and more. The Kingdom of God is built upon forgiveness and every Christian should be one the world's leading experts in real forgiveness. The world does not know what real forgiveness is. God made forgiveness possible through Jesus. Without Jesus there is no forgiveness. This workshop will help you to better understand and practice biblical forgiveness.
