2020 Workshop

Ushering: Church Safety And Security Overview

3/6/2020 3:00 - 4:15 p.m. Room: N10

Twice as many people die in violent incidents on religious property as in our schools. Though the statistics for church violence are sobering, there is also reason to hope. Awareness and training have directly contributed to faith-based organizations’ abilities to handle incidents when they do arise. It's now not a matter of if evil comes to our church/ministry offices, worship services, youth events, Sunday Schools and Christian schools, but when! Preparedness begins with awareness and grows with training. Come discover where your church or ministry needs to start learning and taking action.
