Sue Boldt and her husband, Randy, have been senior pastors in northern California for over forty years. Most recently, they pastored Crossroads Church (now Home Church) in Fairfield, CA. Now, recently retired from senior pastoral ministry, they have launched a non-profit: Crosspointe Ministries and they have a marriage retreat ministry, A Regal Romance. A large part of their lives is coaching, counseling, and mentoring younger pastors/leaders across denominations. They currently are a part of a church planting team in urban Los Angeles, Impact City LA. Together, they minister and teach for Youth with a Mission (YWAM) twice a year in Taipei, Taiwan, and in other parts of the world. Sue is a retreat, camp, and event speaker and she facilitates a healing for life’s hurts ministry, Steps to Breakthrough. She is in the prayerful stages of launching Equip conferences for women in 2020. She has self-published several books and Bible studies: Refresh, Pneuma Life, Morning Moments, and a discipleship series for men and women entitled CrossPointe. She writes a daily devotional blog, a Facebook Page, Instagram, and leads online studies of God’s Word through these venues.

Sue and Randy have three married children and seven amazing grandchildren.

2020 Workshop

Women's Ministry: Introducing One-on-One Discipleship in an Over-Scheduled World

3/6/2020 3:00 - 4:15 p.m. Room: WC 215

Today’s women experience the tug of so many demands upon their lives in their various roles found in their homes, workplace, school, and relationships. It’s hard to find time to even breathe! Still, Lord Jesus knows the inestimable value of women meeting together around His presence and His Word, one on one or in intimate discipleship groups, based upon their life’s harried schedules.

For the newest of Christians or for the seasoned believer, this workshop will provide easy, non-scary, but powerful tools to introduce how God’s love and His Word can transform lives and release women into ministry through simple discipleship.

We will interact with one another and prayerfully consider how one on one or small group discipleship might work for us personally or in our church or ministry by discussing:

• What is our demographic • What would realistically work in our church or ministry setting • Hindrances to discipleship • The potential of writing our own discipleship materials • How discipleship encourages the release of ministry leaders • How discipleship can multiply small groups or church plants • Marketplace ministry • What it means to “do life together” for more in-depth discipleship
