Charlene AkuaRose Feathers is a proud Oakland, CA native, who took deliberate action to overcome adversity, abuse, unhealthy habits, and toxic beliefs. As she prevailed, she realized and accepted her passion and purpose to help people discover their path, purge toxic mindsets, end harmful patterns, heal, and live with purpose and audacious intentionality.

She’s serious about her craft and dedicated to the women she’s purposed to coach and people she's purposed to train, mentor, and speak to. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate so she can be well positioned to support them and work to dismantle systemic values which pose a threat to the wellness of future generations.

2020 Workshop

Women's Ministry: Church Worker Burnout: It's Real AND Preventable

3/7/2020 8:00 - 9:15 a.m. Room: D5

Go ahead, you can say it: you are starting to feel the effects of burnout. Although you consistently, humbly, and gratefully serve in your church, you’re struggling to keep up. You're finding it difficult to balance your day-to-day” life with your church responsibilities. You sometimes grapple feelings of stress, resentment and guilt, and even though you’re desperate to establish healthy boundaries, you don’t know how to express this to others, so you say nothing and suffer in silence. You don’t want to lose yourself and you don’t want to become disgruntled about your ministry service.

In this workshop, you will learn principles and best practices that can help you communicate feelings of overwhelm, develop a system of support, establish boundaries so you can create & maintain wellness, reduce feelings of guilt, anger, & stress, and increase functioning in all areas of your life.
