2019 Workshop

Worship Arts: Basic Voice Foundations - Developing Vocal Freedom

3/9/2019 11:15 - 12:30 p.m. Room: WC 214

This workshop is great for beginners, or those simply wanting a refresher in vocal foundations. Whether you lead worship, sing on a team, sing in a choir, etc; no matter your sphere of influence, your voice is a gift! You were physically created to sing. Come learn more about the science of your voice, as well as general good technique to keep your voice happy, healthy, and free to be used by God. Participants will learn basic techniques (such as posture, breathing and warm ups), and tips and tricks to both release and control pitch, tone, volume, and blend. Step a little more into the confidence of singing through knowledge, encouragement, and take-home exercises.
