Ann Zhou received her degree in veterinary medicine from Sichuan Agricultural University in China. After coming to the U.S., she pursued and received California teacher's credential in adult parenting education. She has been actively involved in community health and family education, including immunization, sexually transmitted diseases (STD), parenting, single parenting and emotional management education through community college, adult school, churches, and community-based organizations (CBO) for the past 17 years. She has been invited as guest speaker to various functions in Northern America, Europe and Asia.

Ann is currently the director of Herald Family Rebuilding Center (HFRC) in Fremont, California. For the past 10 years, she along with a team of dedicated volunteers have been providing services such as workshops, growth groups, parenting classes, retreats, licensed as well as lay counseling to the local Chinese-speaking community helping families who are experiencing relationship crisis.

Ann recently remarried after 20 years as a single parent. Her husband, who is called to men's ministry, also serves at HFRC.

Ann has a 22-year old son who recently graduated from UC and is now working in the Silicon Valley.

2018 Workshop

Asian: How to Overcome Stress for Asian Families


The purpose of the workshop is to live joyfully in family and working relationship. The attendees after finishing the class will bring the lists of effective tool to discover their own roots of stress and practice their unique way for overcoming the stress at home and/or work place in daily life for Asian, especially for Asian Single Parents. The language will be delivered in Mandarin.
