Donna R. Patrick is the award-winning author of two praise and worship-themed devotional/study guides: At All Times, and It's In Your Praise! Both books serve as encouragement and teaching for every believer to transform their current perceptions about praise and worship. She has also co-authored three books: Be Refreshed, to encourage women in the workplace; The Perfect 7, a Devotional guide for mastering 7 key areas of stewardship; and Stories of Roaring Faith, Vol 4, a compilation of personal testimonies of God's power to transform lives. She is an anointed and passionate worship leader, musician, choir director, workshop clinician, and powerful radio host. Her musical career began over 30 years ago, and she has served in worship ministry for approximately 20 years training choirs and praise teams in what it means to serve in accordance with the Word of God.

In 2013, on the invitation of the African American Lectionary,she submitted, and saw published, a commentary to coincide with Worship & Arts Sunday, September 22, 2013.

She holds a B.S. in History from Bishop College, and a M.A. in Christian Education from Dallas Baptist University.

She is the award-winning host of The Donna Patrick Show (www.fbrn.us), a global internet radio program where next-level worship is the focus. Guests include pastors, worship leaders, Christian recording artists, and Christian education leaders.

As Christians we are under divine mandate to worship God in spirit and in truth. But somewhere we have made worship less important, and placed programs, positions, and prestige above the manifest presence of God. This course will take a brief look at the history of worship in the church versus what we see today, and seek to regain the priority of worship, both privately and corporately.
