Ann Zhou received her degree in veterinary medicine from Sichuan Agricultural University in China. After coming to the U.S., she pursued and received California teacher's credential in adult parenting education. She has been actively involved in community health and family education, including immunization, sexually transmitted diseases (STD), parenting, single parenting and emotional management education through community college, adult school, churches, and community-based organizations (CBO) for the past 17 years. She has been invited as guest speaker to various functions in Northern America, Europe and Asia.

Ann is currently the director of Herald Family Rebuilding Center (HFRC) in Fremont, California. For the past 10 years, she along with a team of dedicated volunteers have been providing services such as workshops, growth groups, parenting classes, retreats, licensed as well as lay counseling to the local Chinese-speaking community helping families who are experiencing relationship crisis.

Ann recently remarried after 20 years as a single parent. Her husband, who is called to men's ministry, also serves at HFRC.

Ann has a 22-year old son who recently graduated from UC and is now working in the Silicon Valley.




2015 Workshop

Asian: Anger Management for Asian Adults

After this class, Asian Adults will understand the both consequences and the benefits when unable or able to manage anger, so that they will have greater motivation to practice the anger management in their life. In order to master anger, the class will introduce the causes of anger and anger management procedures (step to step in details) so that the Asia adults will become good role model for their next generation. This workshop will be presented in Mandarin.
