In addition to having a really difficult name, I am Christian Marriage and Family Therapy Intern, and have a Masters degree in Counseling.
I love helping individuals and couples grow more into who they were created to be. I work with clients from all walks of life, including those who struggle with life transitions, grief, shame, perfectionism, self-criticism, relationships, loss, trauma, loneliness, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. I integrate the Christian faith with acceptance, empathy, humor, and curiosity, with an emphasis on self-acceptance and self-forgiveness.
With couples, I help each partner learn about the other's childhood experiences that contribute to the present relationship, which helps cultivate empathy and understanding. I also help couples communicate their feelings and needs more directly.
I love counseling, and I love sharing relevant emotional wellness information with church leaders. I also have a heart to help those in ministry take care of themselves and improve their relationships.
