Silvia Ahn

Team Leader/Chapter Planter

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship

Oakland, CA

Involved with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship for 4 years as student at Mills College, Silvia worked for IVCF at her alma mater since she graduated in 2008 to 2013.

She was asked to re-plant the IVCF chapter at Cal State East Bay and will be starting in Fall 2013. Her calling in life is to equip college students to be agents of change and faith in both their lives and the communities around them. Highly engaged in social justice and faith, she facilitates studies that analyze what the Bible says about justice, faith, and compassion. Silvia’s passion is to see the gospel transform the lives of students and staff and to raise up graduates to become missional world changers for Christ.

She is also newly married to her best friend and husband Eddie Ahn. They celebrated their union on June 15 and are residing in Oakland, CA. Some of their favorite activities together is biking around the Bay Area and devouring good Korean food.
