Dr. Ed Miciano currently serves as the lead pastor of Bridgepoint Community Church in Pacifica, CA. He is also an Assistant Professor of Theology at Patten University (Oakland, CA), as well as Lecturer of Systematic Theology at the School of Urban Missions (Oakland, CA). Aside from his local church ministry, Ed works with other churches and denominations as a consultant in the areas of leadership and church planting. He is the author of "The Faith Factor: Living Out What We Believe" and "The Ministry of Coaching: Mentoring Leaders for the Harvest."

Communicating the message of Scripture requires us to capture the imagination, enliven the passions, and move the will. Sometimes our Bible classes tend to achieve one of these at the expense of the other two. As a result, the person receiving the Word is not fully transformed. In this workshop, we will explore the different ways of conveying Bible truths so that the individual receiving the Word hears it, reacts to it, and responds with faith and obedience.
