The BASS Board of Directors serves voluntarily without remuneration in planning and running the annual BASS conventions. The mission of BASS is to equip, train, encourage and inspire professional and volunteer workers in the body of Christ for Christian ministry. To help us execute effectively on our mission, we’re seeking your help in filling the following key volunteer positions. Chair monthly meetings of the BASS leadership teamand oversee the preparation activities for a March convention. The BASS Chair also assists the Speaker Recruitment Chair for securing General Session speakers.
BASS Vice Chair
Attend monthly leadership team meetings andprovide whatever support is needed to the BASS chair.
Social Media Coordinator/Tech Liaison
Attend monthly leadership team meetings. This individual will liaise with the BASS website host throughout the year and is also responsible for BASS presence on social media sites as well as arranging for ads on the local radio stations in themonths/weeks leading up to the March in-person convention.
Attend monthly leadership team meetings. Additionally, coordinate staffing and computers for registration during an in-person convention, have a presence during BASS,
Primary goal is to provide technical assistance to the workshop presenters. This includes recruiting a team of individual to assist before/during/after BASS, creating a work schedule for this team of volunteers, setup/teardown of equipment in used classrooms, monitoring and maintaining AV equipment already in place, troubleshooting workshop presenters equipment (adapters, connections, etc.), and making sure all equipment is returned properly. A knowledge of computers, screens, projectors, and connections is necessary.
Coordinate with BASS exhibitors for booth setupand provide support during an in-person convention.
Recruit volunteers for the "Ask Me" team for an in-person convention, schedule team members for blocks of time to assist, troubleshoot during BASS.
Customer Service Representative
Respond to BASS phone inquiries during the four weeks leading up to a month of March in-person convention.
