When parents and their young adult children share the same roof, tensions can develop for many reasons. The parents may feel they have lost their freedom, and the child my feel he/she is not respected as an adult. The kitchen, den and bedroom can become battlefields. The phone, television, may be sources of irritation. In this workshop we will go over DISORDER IN THE NEST. Through a little prayer and study we will find ways to get the order back.

21st Century Issues: Setting Boundaries with Your Adult Children

3/7/2014

All parents want their children to grow up and to be happy, responsible adults. But in spite of dad's and mom's best efforts, their most heartfelt prayers, and loving environment, some kids never successfully make the transition to independent functioning adulthood. The result is pain for the parents and often the repeated cycle of starting over that ends only days or weeks later in yet another failure. We will target these issues in this workshop.

Youth: You Lost Me

3/7/2014

What is the reasons do so many spiritually active teenagers put their faith and their connection to the church on the shelf as they reach adulthood? Why do young people raised in good Christian homes wander as young adults?

In this workshop we will address these questions and study the biblical solutions to why; "We Lost Them"?
