2020 Workshops

Special Needs: Disability Ministry: Reaching the Whole Family

3/6/2020 3:00 - 4:15 p.m. Room: WC 200

In this class we will be talking about reaching the entire family affected by disability. We will learn how to just "Do Life Together" and embrace the entire family with support, love and acceptance. We will discuss practical ways to help achieve this such as respite, parent support groups, typical sibling support groups and more. Families affected by disability should be able to become an integral part of the church's rich tapestry. These families not only can be served, but have many God given gifts and talents and desire to also use those gifts and talents to serve within their church families.
