21st Century Issues: Strategy Ministry Development: Reach, Grow, Groups

3/2/2018

It seems like every church leader is talking about small groups. But why don’t they always work? Why do people leave their groups? Why don’t they sign up in the first place? Shouldn’t the church grow after a season of small groups?

The truth is that our culture has changed quite a bit in the last 10 years. Busyness now rules as the number one reason why people do not exercise their bodies or their souls. In this elective, we will discuss some proven methods for developing effective groups that will deepen the faith of your church members AND reach the community. We will also do some brainstorming about this “Go and make disciples, teaching them to obey…” strategy.

With a huge passion for transformation, Pastor Michael Baggett brings unique insight and experience for developing a wide variety of ministries from married life discipleship groups to outdoor sports groups for relational evangelism. With a primary gift of leadership, Michael loves the challenge of adding mid-week transformation to weekend services.

Marriage & Families: For Married Couples: Ending a Fight Before It Starts

3/3/2018

Managing conflict is a sacred skill that can truly lead to health and intimacy in marriage or any relationship. In this elective led by Pastor Michael Baggett, we will look at some biblical principles that provide insights on how to recognize avoidable conflict, how to avoid escalation, and how to resolve conflict if you missed the first two steps. This elective will be presented with a straight-up, biblical approach, but will be a lot of fun, too.

Michael Baggett has been counseling and coaching couples for over 20 years.
