Sharon left Valley Pregnancy Center in 2014 to start Healing Tears. Healing Tears is a ministry about reaching more men and women who need to find help, hope and peace from an abortion experience in their past. Healing Tears is about expanding this ministry beyond the pregnancy center and into churches. We are currently serving the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California.

Women's Ministry: Forgiven and Set Free - Post Abortion Healing

3/8/2019 3:00 - 4:15 p.m. Room: WC 214

Healing Tears exists to assist women and men grieve their aborted children through a healing Bible Study. This is sadly missing in most churches. We would like to help you help those around you who live with this buried sorrow of guilt and silent shame. Healing from abortion is a grief issue. When we give ourselves permission to grieve God comforts us and we can heal and be set free. In Isaiah 61:2-3, God wants to comfort all who mourn and give us beauty for ashes and the oil of joy for mourning. Come see and hear the freedom and joy these women can share because of the Cross.

Counseling: Post-Abortion Healing

3/3/2018

Women (and men) all around us have wounded hearts from abortions in their pasts. Jesus Christ is the answer to all hurt and pain, but we have to talk about it This is a deep wound that more that 35% of the women around us keep a secret. The church needs to be a place of healing from all sin, and pain. Abortion is forgivable! Healing Tears can help you reach these women and offer freedom from the chains of abortion. Church, let's make healing available! Recently I talked with a woman who had an abortion seven years ago and she said she thinks about it every day and often cries, but doesn't have a place to talk about it or know how to get free. And another women whose abortion was over 50 years ago and had never told anyone. She still had shame and guilt. Can we, the church of Jesus Christ, be that place? We will talk about this issue and offer hope and help to churches or anyone who wants to know more about the

21st Century Issues: Healing Tears: A Powerful Ministry of Compassion to Hearts Wounded by Abortion

3/4/2016

Do you know that 40% of the women in your congregation have had an abortion in their past? The impact of abortion is far reaching and often goes unnoticed for many years. Healing Tears exists to help those who are hurting from a past abortion and for those who want to assist those living with the aftermath of abortion.

Healing Tears offers hope and freedom through post-abortion recovery groups. It also provides education through panel presentations and workshops to assist those who would like to learn how to help others with their post-abortion pain.

Healing Tears offers support and guidance to work through the grieving process in order to reach true acceptance and freedom. Our desire is to expand this ministry beyond pregnancy centers and into churches.

The body of Christ can break the stigma and shame surrounding abortion, so those in our midst can find the help they need. Healing Tears is about the power of the Cross.

“Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4
