Barb Miller currently enjoys writing, teaching and speaking in the Northern California area. She is a graduate of “The Masters Program for Women” and is now a program strategic mentor/coach, training women for Kingdom leadership. She has published a Bible study, called “Divine Design – Seeing Yourself as God Sees You” based on Psalm 139. As a former high school teacher and leader of women in ministry, she sees the need to help women discover God’s purposes for their lives, and to use their gifts for His Kingdom.

Barb has been married to Joe, her high school sweetheart, for 42 years. They have three fabulous adult kids, three adorable granddaughters and a charming grandson. They are also owned by “Lloyd,” a very large blue Great Dane, who keeps them laughing every day!

Her life verse is Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Women's Ministry: Developing Leaders, Building Teams - We are Better Together!

When called to leadership, we can maximize our time and energy by helping other potential leaders learn how to do what we do, and prepare them for a role on our team. (Eventually they may even take over our spot as a leader!) As we identify the gifts of those around us, we can tap those with special abilities for jobs we are not gifted to do ourselves. Doing ministry in bite-sized pieces gives more people a chance to shine, and takes the pressure off of one person being responsible for the success of a ministry! Practical tips and tools for both leadership development and team building.
