Pastor of Visitation
Faith Fellowship Community Church
North Highlands, CA

Rev. Rosalee Charley is a native of Marrero, Louisiana. She relocated to Sacramento, California in 1958 and was employed for 35 years with the federal government working at McClellan Air Force Base. Rev. Charley was certified in “Teaching Techniques” by The Trinity School of the Bible in Sacramento.

She was licensed and ordained at the New Testament Baptist church where she was a member for 27 years under the leadership of Rev. Dr. C. Melvin Cummings. She served as Youth Director, Adult Sunday School Teacher, and Spiritual Advisor to Choir #2. She now serves as Pastor of Visitation to the Faith Fellowship Community Church.

Upon Rose’s retirement from McClellan Air Force Base, she believed that God wanted her to extend her gift of teaching within the North Highlands Community. Following the direction of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Rose organized a “Tuesday Morning Bible Study” class. This class consists of 75 individuals that reside throughout North Highlands and surrounding communities.

Rev. Charley travels extensively preaching, teaching, conducting seminars, and workshops on various subjects within the religious and civic circles. Additionally, she spends many hours visiting and praying for the sick, whether they are home or in the hospital. Her ministry spreads behind prison walls.

Rose is the mother of four children and the grandmother of four.

Rose’s motto is “Go Tell” and her favorite scripture is Psalm 27. She says that I am constantly reminded that I was a nobody, who met Somebody, and now I am telling everybody about this Somebody…JESUS CHRIST!

While visiting someone who is sick is not always easy, it can be an enjoyable and/or comforting time for the patient. The idea is to spend time with your friend or family member to let them know that you care and more importantly God cares for them. Come learn tips on how to visit the sick and provide a little smile, some hope and even a few laughs!
