We will take a close look at what attention deficit disorder is and is not. We will identify who this learner is and find practical ways to reach and teach him in the classroom. We will also look at the impact of this student in the home, church, and school. The goal of this workshop is to encourage and equip you to deal effectively with ADD and ADHD students.
We will look at several different learning models in order to identify your own learning styles as teachers/parents, as well as those of the children. You will learn practical ways to teach to the different learning styles as well to help your own children with their homework or homeschooling.
This workshop will give you a wide variety of creative ways to teach Bible to reach the individual learner as well as groups of children, big or small. It includes practical pointers on how to implement these shared teaching techniques.
This workshop will take a balanced look at the many aspects of cherishing and challenging the children in our classrooms as well as homes to be all they can be for Jesus Christ. We will look at their different personalities, learning styles, discipline to the design of the child, self-esteem, teaching responsibility, caring communication, prayer, and reading with children.
