Counseling: The Strengthening Effect of Encouragement

Poor self-esteem, theological misunderstandings, or misguided teachings cause people to minimize most of the benefits words of encouragement and compliments were intended to produce. They feel guilty or embarrassed and miss out on God's remedy for discouragement. We will look into what encouragement looks and feels like. We will list the life-giving benefits that come from both giving and receiving encouragements and strengthen both our Christian life and ministry.
