We know Bible study is important but how does god use His Word to change lives? What is the true measure of a successful Bible study? Together we will explore these and other important questions as we seek to develop more effective Bible study experiences. We will also consider ways to help women move beyond the pursuit of knowledge to lasting life change, effective use of resources and ideas for creating a culture of continuous transformation through Bible study.
Everyday our younger generations are being discipled by culture rather than by the unchanging Word of God. More than that, many individuals feel isolated, disengaged, and overlooked in the context of the local church. They are single, married, and in all the stages in between, and they are in desperate need of you! As we study scripture together, you will be encouraged to engage the next generation in your current ministry. This session will include practical applications and how-to's in discipling young women.
Assisting women in developing meaningful relationships through the dynamics of small groups requires specific skills. You'll discover how to create the proper environment, useful prayer strategies, how to guide discussion and participation, how to create a sense of unity, and strategies for keeping in touch. You'll also learn how to bring the group to an end and create a sense of closure.
Special events are an important part of women's ministry. How far in advance do you plan an event, enlist speakers, and secure facilities? How do you set up committees, and which ones do you need? How do you reach unchurched women through your events? We'll answer these and many other question about planning for, publicizing, and reaching women through special events.
