This workshop will cover how to set up, maintain, and propel a church music ministry. We will cover defining priorities, having goals and standards, developing performance groups based on your people, managing people and events, communicating, fostering teamwork, personal organization, dealing with other leaders (pastors and elders) and more!
This interactive workshop is for anyone desiring to worship god in all aspects of their life. Everyone gets involved in discussing three prominent areas of worship: the heart aspects (passion and purpose), the art aspects (process and programming), and the hard aspects (people and politics).
We all have perfectionist tendencies to some degree which pressure ourselves and others. It's hard to change. This workshop will help you find the roots and bring true heart change that will result in a grace-filled life.
Do you want to assist others to have godly behavior? Do you want to help others discover their motives for true transformation? You can be a wise and effective lay counselor with the tools from this workshop.
We react and think, "I said I wouldn't do that again!" Yet it is possible to transform our motives and desires to be surrendered to God. Then our actions will be empowered by His love and grace. Come learn how this happens!

Re-energize your youth ministry! There's no time like the present to re-focus your ministry on the importance on why you do what you do. "Change is good." So make changes to guidelines, get a new team, try new things! Come and discuss ways to give you’re youth ministry a Godly make-over!
If you've tried entertainment with high energy stimulation and your kids aren't growing, then you need a new direction for your ministry. Kids are capable of becoming disciples, but maybe we expect too little. How high should we raise the bar and how do we get the parents and teachers on board?
What can we do to nurture the faith of our children and ourselves? You will learn how and why the church has moved away from helping parents with faith development. We will explore several practical ideas that can be used at church and at home to build a strong faith.
This workshop will offer a basic introduction to apologetics, the discipline of defending the faith. We will discuss the guidelines that scripture provides for responding to criticisms against Christianity as well as practical suggestions for engaging in meaningful discussions in everyday contacts.
A typical approach to apologetics involves the presentation of evidence in favor of Christianity. But what would you do if it seems that evidence is not enough? People often interpret proof according to a set of preconceived notions. This workshop will offer some suggestions on identifying and addressing these basic assumptions in everyday conversation as well as presenting arguments for Christianity in a less than confrontational manner.
Hooking it all up correctly is the first and most important step to great sound in your church. We'll discuss plugging things in on stage, proper gain structure, system interconnection, and many other topics plus we'll have time for Q & A.
Internally, "I shouted, this isn't my choice!" Sitting in a crowd of 1000 people, it was suggested that something else is going on that I needed to do that I was holding onto and needed to release to the Lord. Inspired by Psalms 139:23-24, this workshop will shed light on the possibilities of the real issue.
